Museum @ Night is back in 2019! Save the dates now!
Explore the museum like never before through a series of uniquely themed after-hours events for adults... live entertainment, themed snacks, cash bar, and interactive activities.
These adult-only, after-hours events will include our popular scavenger hunts that immerse you in our exhibit galleries, but NEW this year, we're adding hands-on activities to enhance your experience (and leave you with a little souvenir to remember your night). Of course, we'll also have live entertainment (with DJ Atomik), snacks, cash bar, and trivia!
Tickets ARE NOW AVAILABLE through the Brockville Arts Centre box office (in-person, over the phone, and online). We're offering great DISCOUNTS on advance purchase & series tickets, but tickets will also be available at the door. SAVE the dates & SHARE with your friends! $30/series, $12 in advance, $15 at the door.
March 29: 70s Throwback
Our DJ will be playing your favorite tunes while you "dance" around the museum hunting for answers to what Brockville was really like in the 1970s. We'll also have 70s board games and toys, as well as make-your-own macrame and pet rock stations! Prizes for best 1970s attire will be awarded!
April 26: Steampunk Invasion
Our popular History or Hearsay event is taking on a Steampunk theme: find out what happens when modern technology takes on the Victorian period and decide which object label is true, and which is pure fiction. We'll also have a make-your-own steampunk accessory station and live Steampunk art demonstrations. Prizes for best Steampunk attire will be awarded!
May 31: Inked
Got a tattoo? Or just curious about the art, ink, history, or process? Someone is getting inked live while you explore the new travelling exhibit, "My Story, My Tattoo" and try your hand at the art, or surprise your friends by sharing photos of your (temporary) tattoo at our photo booth.
This is a fundraiser for the Brockville Museum. Grab your friends and come out for a great night of engaging entertainment while supporting your community museum (you might even learn a little history).
