Upcoming Events at Brockville Restaurants & Stores

As the calendar rolls into October and storefronts slowly begin to take down the "back to school" displays and put up fall foliage and Halloween decorations, now is the perfect time to look at the exciting events and shopping activities coming. Here are a few our Brockville Downtown Business Improvement Area team wants you to know about.

Past Events

The summer and spring were a rousing success when it came to activities and bringing the community together. Brockville restaurants jointed together for the Spring into Flavour event in March. With specials on meals throughout the day (from March 22 to the 26), it proved to be a fantastic opportunity to get out and sample the fine dining opportunities downtown Brockville has to offer.

Sidewalk Sales in both May and August brought even more members from our community together, all to shop at the local storefronts. Everyone from Brockville restaurants to clothing stores took part in the events, which were used to not only kick off the summer season but to call it to a close. Now, we have to look forward to the upcoming activities fast approaching.

What's to Come?

With the cooler weather comes a host of fun-filled events. While we all get settled back into our school time routine, Thanksgiving and Black Friday will come out of nowhere. There are going to be some exciting sales and activities to go along with it.

Each of the local shops will put on their own sales, and we’ll have our noses to window displays to see their new looks. Of course, to go along with the different local shop sales, downtown restaurants will make sure shoppers and people-watchers alike do not go hungry. So stay tuned for the different sales and specials each store will announce.

Remember to Shop Local

If there is one thing Downtown Brockville likes it is shopping local. There are truly unique storefronts, restaurants and boutiques throughout downtown, each of which provides something a little different.

Many of the items for sale are handmade or locally sourced, and so not only does this mean the products are quality, but every single purchase supports our neighbours and friends.

So, the next time you are in need of an item or hungry for delicious food, we want you to consider coming to downtown Brockville and to experience what makes it such a beautiful and unique location in Ontario. Come and see the excitement for yourself today.
